An Exhibition of Hand Woven Garments by Rosemary Weir

Artist's statement:

"In 1981 I attended Nelson Polytechnic and completed a Certificate of Handweaving. Since then I have been working as a self-employed Handweaver.

I work from my home studio producing colourful and unique boucle mohair and wool fabric which is made into a variety of garments. I sell my garments through selected retail outlets throughout New Zealand.

Over the last year I have also been designing and producing a range of 100% New Zealand merino cycle jerseys. I have a website from which to view my Aspiring Cyclewear. It is www.aspiringcyclewear.co.nz "

Be sure to come in and inspect Rosemary's display. You will not be disappointed by the variety of hand woven garments and accessories on show.
